How does LightSync Pro connect to cloud platforms?

All OAuth credentials are held by our patented broker architecture — never in your WordPress database.Does LightSync Pro store my images?
No—never. Images transfer directly from your cloud platform to WordPress or Shopify. AI-generated images are created via OpenRouter and saved directly to your WordPress Media Library. Nothing passes through or stays on LightSync Pro servers. Will updating images break my existing galleries or pages?
No. LightSync Pro uses non-destructive syncing, updating images in place while preserving existing URLs, galleries, and layouts. What formats are imported into WordPress?
LightSync Pro imports rendered images into the WordPress Media Library and generates WordPress thumbnails. WebP conversion is supported on all plans, and AVIF conversion is available on Pro/Agency plans. AI-generated images go through the same optimization pipeline.Does LightSync Pro work with page builders (Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, etc.)?

How do I connect LightSync Pro to Adobe Lightroom?
Go to LightSync Pro → Connections → Connect to Adobe. You’ll be redirected to Adobe’s secure login page to approve access. Once approved, you’ll be returned to WordPress and your account will be securely linked. Why do I have to log back into Adobe sometimes?
Adobe access tokens can expire due to security rotation, inactivity, or changes on Adobe’s side. LightSync Pro refreshes tokens automatically whenever possible, but in rare cases Adobe requires a one-time reconnect.Does LightSync Pro store my Adobe password?
No—never. Authentication runs through Adobe OAuth 2.0, and LightSync Pro only receives secure access tokens controlled by Adobe. Can multiple WordPress sites connect to the same Adobe account?

How does AI Image Generation work?
Connect your OpenRouter account via LightSync Pro → AI Generate → Connect OpenRouter. Type a prompt, choose a model (Flux, DALL-E, Gemini, Stable Diffusion, Recraft, Ideogram, and more), and generate. Images are automatically optimized (WebP/AVIF) and saved to your WordPress Media Library — the same pipeline as every other cloud source. What AI models are available?
LightSync Pro connects to OpenRouter, which provides access to dozens of image generation models including both free and paid options. Model costs are displayed in real-time before you generate, so there are no surprises.Does AI generation cost money?
Many models are free. Paid models are billed through your OpenRouter account — typically $0.01–$0.04 per image. LightSync Pro shows a cost badge with estimates before you generate. You pay OpenRouter directly via their credit system. Can I use a reference image?
Yes. Select any image from your WordPress Media Library as a visual style guide. Multimodal models like Gemini will use it to match style, composition, and mood. Image-only models (Flux, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, etc.) generate from the text prompt alone — the cost badge indicates when a reference will be ignored. Can I roll back to a previous AI-generated version?
Yes. Every regeneration automatically backs up the previous version. You can view your full version history and roll back to any previous generation with one click. No image data is ever lost. Can I sync AI images to Shopify or Hub?
Yes. AI-generated images use the same sync pipeline as all other cloud sources. You can push them to WordPress, Shopify, Syncific Hub, or any combination of destinations. How is AI Generate different from AI Insights?
AI Generate creates new images from text prompts using OpenRouter models. AI Insights analyzes your existing images using OpenAI or Anthropic Claude for alt text suggestions, visual analysis, and A/B performance testing. They are separate features that complement each other.Does LightSync Pro handle naming and alt text for AI images?
Yes. AI-generated images support dedicated naming tokens including {prompt_short}, {prompt}, {model}, {aspect_ratio}, {date}, and {sequence} — configured in the AI Naming panel with a live preview.Syncific Hub (Enterprise)
What is Syncific Hub?
Syncific Hub is the enterprise distribution feature that pushes images from any connected cloud source — including AI-generated images — to unlimited WordPress, Shopify, Contentful and HubSpot sites from a single dashboard.Do destination sites need LightSync Pro installed?
No. WordPress sites connect via Application Passwords, Shopify & Contentful via OAuth, and HubSpot via their Files API. Nothing to install on destination sites. How do I add sites to my Hub?
Send a token-based invite to each site manager. They click to authorize — no plugin installation, no credential sharing. You can also configure connections manually if preferred. Can I control which sites auto-update?
Yes. Each destination site can be set to auto-sync or manual-sync independently, giving you governance over which sites update automatically and which require approval. How does Hub handle image updates?
Every asset synced through Syncific Hub is mapped by a unique identifier to every destination. When something changes at the source, Hub replaces the exact asset in place across every connected site. No duplicates, no orphaned files, no broken references.Connecting to Shopify
How do I connect LightSync Pro to Shopify?
Go to LightSync Pro → Shopify → Connect Shopify Store. Enter your store domain and authorize the app. Images will sync to Shopify Files. What Shopify plan do I need?
Any active Shopify store works. You’ll need store owner or staff permissions with Files access. Can I sync to both WordPress and Shopify?
Yes. Select your sync target (WordPress, Shopify, or both) when running a sync. With Syncific Hub, you can also distribute to multiple Shopify stores simultaneously.Albums, Projects & Folders
Why aren’t all my Lightroom albums showing?
This is usually caused by albums still loading, a temporary token issue, or albums that contain images that haven’t finished rendering yet. Refreshing the album list or reconnecting typically resolves it.Why do some albums, projects, or folders appear empty?
Albums can appear empty when images haven’t completed cloud rendering. For Lightroom, this happens while Adobe processes edits. For Figma, ensure frames are exportable and not hidden. For Dropbox, check that the folder contains supported image formats. LightSync Pro will detect images on the next refresh or sync. Why are some images missing or unavailable?
Cloud platforms must finish generating renditions before LightSync Pro can import them. Images may be unavailable right after uploading or editing, when files are large, or while servers are still processing. LightSync Pro retries automatically until images become available.Syncing & Auto-Sync
How do I manually sync?
Click Sync Now on the LightSync Pro dashboard, choose the album, project, or folder, select your destination (WordPress, Shopify, Hub, or both), and LightSync Pro will begin importing immediately. What happens during a sync?
LightSync Pro checks for new or updated images, pulls rendered files from your cloud platform (or generates via AI), imports them into WordPress Media Library and/or Shopify Files, converts images to WebP or AVIF (on supported plans), applies SEO naming and alt text patterns, and logs progress through completion. Why does sync skip certain images?
Images may be skipped if they haven’t finished rendering, the platform throttles API calls, a file is inaccessible, or cloud sync isn’t complete on the source side. Skipped images are retried automatically on future syncs. What is Auto-Sync?
Auto-Sync (available on Pro and Agency plans) checks your cloud platforms — Lightroom, Figma, Dropbox, and Canva — on a schedule for new or updated images in selected albums, projects, and folders, then imports them automatically once they’re ready. How often does auto-sync run?
On supported plans, Auto-Sync can run every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, hourly, every 6 hours, twice daily, or daily. The interval is configurable per album, project, or folder.Does auto-sync run if I close my browser?
Yes. Auto-Sync runs through WordPress Cron and does not require your browser to remain open.Performance & Limits
How many images can I sync at once?
LightSync Pro supports syncing large albums containing hundreds or thousands of images. Actual performance depends on your hosting environment, PHP memory limits, and cloud platform API behavior. How many albums or projects can I sync?
Plan limits apply to albums/projects/folders, not individual images:- Free: Unlimited manual sync
