Will editing an image update it on my website?

Yes. When synced albums are updated in Lightroom, Figma, or Canva (Coming Soon), LightSync Pro retrieves the latest versions and updates the corresponding media in WordPress + Shopify automatically.

Will it rename my original files?

You can choose. Keep originals or apply SEO-friendly rename patterns (we prevent collisions and preserve extensions).

What about my theme and page builder?

Images are standard WordPress attachments with full metadata. Everything “just works.”

Does LightSync Pro replace images already used on my site?

LightSync Pro is designed to safely update existing media files while preserving their use across pages, posts, and templates.

Do I need the Chrome extension?

No. LightSync Pro works without it using scheduled or manual syncs.
The extension is optional and simply provides a faster way to trigger a sync from Lightroom.

Does LightSync Pro work with WooCommerce?

Yes. WooCommerce uses the WordPress Media Library for product images — and LightSync Pro syncs directly into that same library. Any synced image can be used on product pages just as any other media.

How is scheduling handled?

Via WordPress cron with per-album cadence. Pro users can set fine-grained schedules.

Does LightSync Pro require server binaries?

No. AVIF/WebP use PHP (Imagick/GD). If AVIF isn’t supported, we gracefully fall back.

How does AI Image Generation work?

Connect your OpenRouter account, type a description, pick a model (Flux, DALL-E, Gemini, etc.), and generate. Images are automatically optimized and saved to your Media Library. You can then sync them to Shopify or distribute via Syncific Hub. Many models are free; paid images cost as little as $0.01 each.

Can I use a reference image for AI generation?

Yes. Select any image from your Media Library as a visual reference. Multimodal models like Gemini will match style and composition. Image-only models generate from the prompt alone.

How does the syncing work?

Lightroom (cloud-based) doesn’t always generate the final edited rendition instantly. For some images, especially large RAW files or recently edited photos, Adobe needs time to render the final version.
Because LightSync Pro only pulls fully rendered files, any image still in Lightroom’s processing queue will temporarily show as unavailable.
When rendering is complete, the next sync will bring those images in automatically.
