Overview
LightSync Pro connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other AI assistants to your creative asset sources and delivers optimized images directly to WordPress and Shopify.
Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), LightSync Pro uses a patent-pending broker architecture (U.S. Patent Application No. 19/440,404) that securely handles OAuth credentials so your API keys never touch your WordPress installation.
Supported Sources
Live and production-ready:
- Adobe Lightroom (cloud)
- Figma
- Dropbox
- Shutterstock
- AI Image Generation via OpenRouter (Flux, DALL-E, Gemini, Stable Diffusion, and more)
Awaiting API approval:
- Canva — pending final API approval from Canva
Need OneDrive or Google Drive? These sources are available in Syncific, our standalone web app, which also adds multi-site distribution across five CMS platforms.
Destinations
LightSync Pro syncs to one WordPress site and one Shopify store per installation.
For multi-site distribution across WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, Contentful, and Webflow, see Syncific — our standalone web app built on the same broker architecture.
Key Features
Browse and Search Creative Assets
Access your Lightroom albums, Figma files, Dropbox folders, and Shutterstock collections directly from your AI assistant. Images include EXIF metadata and visual thumbnails.
Optimized Upload to WordPress and Shopify
Images go through automatic AVIF/WebP conversion, responsive resizing, and SEO metadata generation before landing in your media library. No manual export-download-upload cycle.
AI Image and Text Generation
Generate images via OpenRouter (Flux, DALL-E, Gemini, Stable Diffusion, Recraft, Ideogram, and more). Generate alt text, captions, and SEO descriptions. All with version tracking and one-click rollback.
Version Management
Every AI-generated image is versioned. Compare iterations, A/B test variations, and roll back to any previous version instantly.
Setup
- Visit the Anthropic Connectors Directory (or Settings → Connectors in Claude)
- Find LightSync Pro and click Connect
- Enter your email address and LightSync Pro license key
- Select which WordPress site to connect
- Click Allow to grant access
Claude (or your chosen AI assistant) now has access to your connected sources and destinations.
Requirements
- An active LightSync Pro license (Pro+ or Agency)
- The LightSync Pro plugin installed on your WordPress site
- At least one source connected (Lightroom, Figma, Dropbox, Shutterstock, or AI Generate)
Finding Your License Key
Log in to your LightSync Pro account dashboard to find your license key. It looks like: LSP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
Authentication
LightSync Pro uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) for secure authentication. When you connect through the directory:
- Your AI assistant registers itself as an OAuth client (Dynamic Client Registration)
- You authenticate with your email and license key on our secure login page
- You choose which WordPress site to connect
- We issue a short-lived access token and a refresh token
- Your WordPress site validates tokens using our public JWKS endpoint — no shared secrets, no broker round-trips for tool calls
You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the connector in your AI assistant’s settings.
Examples
Example 1: Browse and sync Lightroom photos
User prompt: “Show me my latest Lightroom albums and sync the ‘Product Shots’ album to my WordPress site”
What happens:
- LightSync Pro lists your Lightroom albums with photo counts
- You pick the album to sync
- Photos are optimized (AVIF/WebP, responsive sizes) and uploaded to your WordPress media library
- Each photo gets proper alt text, titles, and EXIF-based metadata
Example 2: Generate and upload an AI image
User prompt: “Generate a hero image for my blog post about sustainable fashion, then upload it to my WordPress site with SEO-optimized alt text”
What happens:
- LightSync Pro generates the image via OpenRouter
- The image is displayed inline for your review
- On approval, it’s optimized and uploaded to WordPress with AI-generated alt text and caption
- The version is tracked — you can iterate or roll back later
Example 3: Export Figma designs to WordPress
User prompt: “List my recent Figma files, get the frames from the ‘Homepage Redesign’ file, and upload the hero section to WordPress”
What happens:
- LightSync Pro lists your Figma files with modification dates
- Retrieves frames and pages from the selected file with dimensions
- Exports and optimizes the selected frame
- Uploads to your WordPress media library with proper metadata
